"Michael", in our Portrait Workshop in July this year. My painting was in acrylic, started in the classroom with the model and finished at home without. I don't normally combine the two, but I felt compelled to do so as he was such a great model. We had been looking at LS Lowry's brilliant Self-portrait from 1925 and felt inspired.
